Took our daughter here for her birthday dinner, at her request. I was surprised at how much food they put on your plate. Everything was delicious and we all had a lot for leftovers.

    Great food

I just have to start by saying that although the food is spectacular, my favorite part about this restaurant is the restaurant itself and the decor! It’s so gorgeous inside and we love to dine in whenever possible!

We have placed a couple orders since covid but we are excited to get the chance to eat in again, hopefully soon!

  • *****

I take my family to this place often! This is the best place to dine. I visit this spot regularly. The cooking is very tasty, the staff is welcoming and the prices are affordable. I enjoy going in this place for a nice supper.

  • *****

Great service when picking up food! Both Chinese food and sushi were very good! The spring rolls were awesome! They were not grease like most spring rolls are! Which was great! I recommend this place!

  • *****

This restaurant is unquestionably one of the tastiest restaurants in the region. Anytime I come to this place I am exceedingly glad. They maintain their very high level service and the topmost level of dishes they provide. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

The best sushi I've ever had. The smoked salmon on their philly roll will bring me back many time. Price but soooo worth it!!

We both had enough for a second meal at home the following day! The restaurant is expansive, including a second floor which we assumed would only be open for special events, large groups or overflow. Guests enter across a little, curved bridge over a pool of colorful fish, which ties in nicely with their constantly changing, colorful exterior lights.

  • *****

The atmosphere here is amazing. The food is good and the portions are huge. I'm sure we will be back again.

  • *****

I really love the dishes and customer service, excellent area close to my residence. The staff members are always welcoming. Will visit here again.

The food has been great every time I have ordered from them! My order is always correct, staff is nice and the price is good!

  • *****

Pick up/Take out was quick and easy. Beautiful, clean, safe space. DELICIOUS food! So wonderful! Yasss!

  • *****

Love their lights! It's so beautiful, and they have giant coy fish. Wish the fish were free, but they are cool to see. They feed em good at least, and everyone else for that matter ?

  • *****

Ate there once after driving by it for months. What a pleasure! The food is great. Not that boiler plate Chinese menu most places serve. Unusual dishes I've never seen on another menu. All freshly made and service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

  • *****

It's not just a Chinese food restaurant. They also have a sushi bar. The sushi is just good. The Chinese food, however, is great. Nearly everything we've had has been pretty phenomenal. I recommend the dinner combos. Lots of food at an outstanding price. The egg Foo young is especially delicious. All of their sauces are better than normal. So that makes the sweet and sour just that much better. The Kung pow even more savory with just the right amount of spice. They don't over or under cook the vegetables in their stir fries. All of it. Hell, even the jasmine tea is just outstanding.

  • *****

Great friendly staff and the food is always fresh and tasty. I would recommend this fine establishment to any of my friends. They have always been accommodating no matter the size of our group. From single dinners to go to large groups.

  • *****

Went for dinner on Christmas day. Food was good. Staff was friendly. Only bummer was they were not offering their small American menu that day. My daughter is autistic and when we chose this restaurant over several others it was because their menu had food options she would eat. We ended up compromising by getting sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side.

  • *****

WE got take away food last night, our Chinese restaurant is closed, and this place is great! My wife picked up the food, and said lets eat here when Covid 19 is over. When things get back to normal its going to be the first restaurant we visit.

  • *****

This is my go to lunch spot for sushi, I love coming here for how absolutely stunning the interior is and just how lovely the staff members are. :) Vivian is my absolute favorite, anytime I see her I get happy to chat with her, she is definitely one of the sweetest. I can absolutely also vouch for how delicious the food is, its absolutely indescribable.

  • *****

The food was good. Service seems awkward. It's like you are lucky they come to your table. Check in rate is slow. As far ask seeing if you need anything, getting refills. Supplying extra silverware for a group larger than the table was set for had to be asked. The food was good. Standard chinese restaurant style. I liked everything I tried. We had chicken, beef, and pork dishes. All was good. If staff can get a little more proactive and friendly they will have a great place here.

  • *****

Pretty crowded when we went. Good variety of food with huge portions, friendly and fast service. Nice selection of sushi, but I only tried the California rolls. The food was OK, nothing to write home about. Would be willing to give it another go, probably on a less crowded day.

  • *****

Not only did the food fill all of my food cravings and expectations, our server was a delight and so nice to our daughter. The sushi is so fresh and delicious. My favorite was the Tiger roll. They must have a good set up and prep in their kitchen because we had food in less than 10 minutes. A plus. Will go again.

  • *****

I love this place, food is really good and the staff is really nice

  • *****

    Good Sushi

  • *****

lived in the area a long time and never stopped in despite being tempted by the beautiful lights. finally tried it and was not disappointed! the food is fresh and hot and very well prepared for flavor and quality. only issue i have is that while they offer a huge selection of dishes, they don't offer a build your own combo plate where someone might want 2 or 3 smaller entree portions with a side. the atmosphere is great. have pictures but not sure how to post on the site.

  • *****

Always fresh ingredients, great food & the sushi is extremely fresh! Also, the cocktails in the lounge are delicious. Our family calls it Gresham’s best kept secret because it wasn’t busy when it first launched. It’s no longer a secret & the service is still great despite being very busy!

    Great food, great service!!

  • *****

Super delicious! Tons of food though. Enough for 2 or 3 to share. Its a beautiful building especially inside. Just really good service was great a bit spendy but worth it. ? Oh and the cocktails are strong as all get out. Worth every penny

  • *****

Went with the family. Ordered general tso's with white rice, and the family got orange chicken and a vegetarian dish. The staff, restrooms and serving areas were all clean and well kept. Food was well seasoned but not overly much. Definitely worth a visit.

  • *****

    Food quality is great

  • *****

Best General Tao’s chicken I’ve had. All the food looks great with pictures with the menu making things simple. The place Has beautiful architecture, traditional Chinese building design, and the inside has Coy fish you can feed. Sushi conveyor belt makes for easy picking if you desire that. I had some and it was perfection. Truly a great place.

  • *****

The best pecan shrimp there is around. Very nice people service is awesome love this place

  • *****

Was drawn to try this place due to the festive lighting outside. Came for dinner around 7 on a Saturday and the parking lot was decently packed. Being our first time here, we ordered some safe, basic dishes: Orange Chicken and Broccoli Beef. Our server, Valerie, was excellent, the food came quickly, and they run your card right there at the table (which I kind of liked.) This may very well have been the BEST Orange Chicken I've ever had. Not joking. Definitely will be coming back here and am looking forward to trying some Chef's specials.
Oh, and there's Mochi, so that's always a plus.

  • *****

Lights outside are amazing to look at. Inside very clean and colorful. Service excellent and the food above all other Chinese restaurants I've been too.I'm so glad my mom talked me into going here! This place is awesome! They are very friendly and accommodating. I live that they have combination dinners.

  • *****

A great place to get great food ,drinks and sushi.

  • *****

The best sushi & Chinese food in Gresham! Everything is amazing. I love their BBQ pork, it’s so far above any other I’ve had. The space is large and always clean. Service is fast and friendly. One of my favorite Gresham restaurants for certain!

  • *****

OMG!!! I haven't been in this building in years and I'm sorry to say that. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff made us feel like we were family. Highly recommend this place and we'll be back for sure.

  • *****

Amazing restaurant for super good food, whether you like sushi or Chinese Food. It's our go-to for sure, and the staff has always been very friendly. The portions are large, so there's always lots of leftovers.

  • *****

Food was pretty good. Large meals like any other restaurant but still able to eat all of it. Service was on point except one lady who looked like she had had a rough day.

  • *****

Amazing. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Cute decor. Great prices with big portions. Always taking home left overs.

  • *****

I'm so glad my mom talked me into going here! This place is awesome! They are very friendly and accommodating. I live that they have combination dinners. Living in Colorado for six years I did not have good Chinese food so I was so pleased with the selection, quality of food, and OMG, the amount of food! I ordered a combination dinner and swapped the sweet and sour chicken for general tso chicken, it had chow mien, fried shrimp, fried rice and bbq pork. All the food was cooked very well. I loved all of it. The atmosphere was inviting with fish tanks and coy ponds. It also has a sushi bar on a rotating belt. I don't eat sushi but it was cool looking. I will be returning for sure the next time I am
    In town.

  • *****

Pretty good. Wait staff isn't attentive at all. But its beautiful and reasonably priced.

  • *****

I had had their take out a few times through a delivery service and thought I would try taking a group of family there from out of town. First of all my mother in law complains about all food no matter where we go and almost always sends her food back. Not only did she not send anything back she actually complemented the chef and really enjoyed everything. My self I love all the plants everywhere and the koy bridge is so pretty and the million different choices on the menu. Everything I have tried, even if I was not a fan of it the flavor was still amazing.

  • *****

The food was good, but wasn't spectacular. However, the service was top notch. Wonderful ladies! We will definitely be back.

  • *****

I give it a five-star because it's very fresh very tasty on a to-go order for my mom's birthday they forgot three orders of white rice they said they'll make it up but that doesn't work for today. So today you get a 4-star I don't care if you're too busy you need to make it right. I'm not sure what happened with my egg foo young either they must make it in a blender because I don't see any patties.

  • *****

We had a wonderful meal here tonight. Our waitress Lucy was fantastic. We sat in the lounge with the most comfortable chairs ever. Lucy had ice water and hot tea on our table within minutes. Our appitizer, pot stickers arrived shortly after. Hot and delicious. I had the seseme beef. I order this frequently, but this had a slight sweetness, which I loved. My girlfriend had beef with asparagus, which was good, but not as good as the seseme beef. I highly recommend this place. Ask for Lucy.

  • *****

This is our family's go to. Clean. Good service. Eddie Mo Mo and Lucy are awesome bartenders and make good drinks!! Beautiful decor. Koi pond. Always has parking. Bathrooms are clean. To go orders are fast.

  • *****

Yum! I love the look and feel of this place too! Our new favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I can't wait to explore more of the menu.

  • *****

Great place to visit if you're in the Oregon Gresham area. It's about 25 minutes away from Portland for those who do t know Oregon cities that well. Serving size is big and really delicious. Only disappointment was the seaweed salad and poke sushi off appetizer menu. It's was soo small! Just because it's an appetizer doesn't mean it should be soo small, not for the price they are asking for both.
Waitresses are great funny and pretty nice, but the one waitress we had had no idea what unfiltered saki was, and looked at me weird when I asked for it. Shouldn't you know what this is if you're working in the bar area as a waitress. Tip her nice regardless because she was attentive.

  • *****

Probably one of the most spicy and delicious spicy tuna I have had! I have had a lot of sushi and this place was delicious! Prices are reasonable and good sizes of sushi rolls. We ordered Hawaiian roll- hands down the best! And the tsunami roll was also amazing! Definitely will be back! Service was amazing and there is plenty of parking. We sat in the lounge and it was cool we got to see tv and plenty of places to sit.

  • *****

I am sooooo impressed!! The exterior was magnificent. The Interior very impressive. Beautiful in fact. But warm and welcoming. The staff is so extremely nice. The food delicious and you can even get tasty alcoholic beverages. We had a great time there. And on the way out were even given balloons for mothers day.

  • *****

Good service and really great food. Portions are large and very tasty. Reasonable prices. Best hot and sour soup in the area. Enjoyed the visit and will definitely be back

  • *****

Oh my gosh ... had the best meal ever! The menu was huge with everything under the sun available! Our waitress had a great attitude & was so much fun. Service was very fast and my Singapore Sling was perfect (well I didn't need two).

  • *****

Lights outside are amazing to look at. Inside very clean and colorful. Service excellent and the food above all other Chinese restaurants I've been too.

    Tom B

Back for thirds - still exceptional.

  • *****

Great selection of sushi and very attentive service. It was a fun experience. First time at the sushi bar and the sushi conveyor was a neat touch.

  • *****

Being new to the Gresham area we were looking for a place to get good Chinese food, And so glad we stopped here and have returned twice more. Service was very good and fast and the food excellent. Have even gotten an order to go. Will now be on are list of good places to eat and take friends.

  • *****

If you love plants, koi fish ponds, intricate Chinese designs, and delicious food, this is the place to be. If you order a meal, prepare to eat that for the next 3 meals. Their portions are huge, but very tasty. Very good service as well. I'd say the sushi conveyor belt could have had more options, but it wasn't a busy night so I understand. Still delicious. I'd say the sushi area was at least my favorite place to sit because you have a great view of the inside of the Pagoda shaped building, and it is beautiful. Someone really put quite a lot if work into it.

  • *****

Great food, I was very impressed with the quality! It is a little expensive, but the gigantic portions and delicious taste makes you quickly realize that you got your moneys worth. The hostesses were awkward, but the server was wonderful. The wait on ordering and the food being delivered was reasonable. I would highly recommend the place to friends and will be going back myself.

  • *****

There food is absolutely great. The lemon chicken is like candy so damn good. A must must try. They have sushi too witch i have not tried but my kids love it.

  • *****

The atmosphere is very unique. The building is lit up outside and easy to spot with the flowing lights. You walk in and cross a beautiful koi pond. The restaurant is clean and has a very thoughtful layout. There seems to be a lot of employees and wait staff. The food wasn't anything spectacular, but I only tried the crab puffs and fried shrimp. I will try again and post an update.

  • *****

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. My 4 year old son has been wanting to go to the giant glowing Chinese restaurant for quite sometime. We finally gave in and were expecting mediocre food, what we found however was probably the best Chinese I have had since living in Portland. The service is lacking a bit but the food was so good I can't give it anything less than 5 stars!

  • *****

Not aure if you're in the mood for a sushi bar or a plate of food? This place is the perfect solution! It has both! You can sit at a booth to order or sit at the sushi bar they have in the middle. Everything I've tried here tastes amazing. In the menu options, the portion sizes are huge! You really get what you pay for.

  • *****

Best Chinese I've had in a while! Not too bad of a wait. My daughter forgot her teddy in there and the server brought it out to our car. So nice.

  • *****

This place is deceptive definitely. The outside looks a little campy maybe even slightly corny. However! The inside is large, elegent and tasteful. The prices are reasonable with enormous portions. They even have a fresh sushi bar. I rarely give a full five stars but they really deserve it.

  • *****

This place has become our favorite for Chinese food. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Combination dinners are delicious and they come in a good portion. Place is nice and clean. Love their koi fishes in the entry way.

  • *****

Visited in Gresham, Oregon and had dinner with friends at the Palace. Really well designed building and abundance of space. Excellent dinner, fun servers. Very clean with a handicap access. The food was served in authentic dinner ware. We certainly will return next time we visit Gresham.

  • *****

The employees are so nice and helpful. Vivian was our waitress. We ate lunch on a Monday at lunchtime. It wasn't so busy.
The restaurant is huge. They have several sections to choose from. A sushi bar. A lounge. A Booth seating and even a private party room. Something to fit every need!
The menu is easy to read with pictures.
I totally love the decor both inside and out. The parking lot can fit a large party.
The food looked good on the plates and tasted even better.

  • *****

Really good food! Great combos. Great price. Great atmosphere. Fast service full of hard workers! And who doesn't love the outside light show?! Sushi is nice and big.

  • *****

    This place is simply amazing!
Everyone that came in seemed to be pleased with the food.
Price was great for the amount of food and portions I received! 5 stars for sure!

  • *****

The food is really good, you must try the honey walnut chicken. Very clean and upscale looking with friendly staff. My mother is disabled and a lady working up front went out of her way opening the door for my mom. #New favorite restaurant

  • *****

Used to be Yun's Garden back in the day and it was awesome. Then the place went through a few changes in ownership and was neglected. But I am happy to report the newest owners have restored this place to its former glory as the Dragon Palace. And the portions here could fill a dragon. And it's super tasty. I won't claim that this is authentic Chinese but if you say shi shi they will respond in kind.

  • *****

Lots of balloons and decorations this Valentine's day. First time here. The portions are huge. Prices are decent. They also have a sushi conveyor belt and a full service bar. Every thing was spotless. I will be back again.

  • *****

Food is great, vegetables fresh & not soggy, good flavor, great service. Atmosphere is updated, clean, attractive!

  • *****

Dragon Palace has the best Vegetable Low Mein! The staff are all friendly and all around good food. If you love sushi this is the place to go.

  • *****

    Its pretty good
And good to take home and eat with your family.
My family has alot of cats so this food is perfect for them.
    5 stars
And 5 more from my mothers cats

  • *****

Went here for Christmas Eve. Place was packed but only waited about 15 minutes which was perfect for all the family to get here. Wait staff worked fast and hard. Food and service excellent. We will be back!

  • *****

Great prices, great portions, friendly staff. Food is fresh and served in a timely manner. Restaurant is clean and presentable. Only suggestion is to check on table a little more. Little water goes a long way.

  • *****

I have only ordered items to-go. I have ordered off of both their Chinese and Japanese menus. Both have been amazing! Such a large selection, without being overwhelmed.
I have not gone beyond the front register, but what I have seen of the place, it looks amazing! Definitely on the list do dine-in.

  • *****

Best Chinese food in town!!! Definitely will be back! We ordered orange chicken and crab puffs. SO YUMMY!

  • *****

Food is good, takeout orders are quick. Fried shrimp and crab puffs are awesome! Definitely a go-to Chinese takeout place.

  • *****

Food tastes fresh n higher quality than most Chinese restraunts. Prices a bit more but in my opinion worth it. Nice new ambience n I really enjoy their changing palace outdoor light show at night!

  • *****

Their general Tso is really good, I loved that they had a sushi bar too and the tempura California roll was nice. Everything about the place brought a nice Chinese atmosphere and the fact that it's a palace and lights up very pretty. The service was pretty good, that one I will rate a 4 1/2 stars out of 5

  • *****

This place was wonderful. Great service, great food that came out very quickly, and the prices aren't bad at all for the quantity and quality of what you get. Will definitely be coming back soon.

  • *****

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My husband had came here before me and said I needed to come back. I love food but a few genres I am super picky and Chinese is one. He must have thought I would like it and was worth the risk of me complaining.

I wasn't hoping for much- I expected the usual gloppy type of Chinese I have been running across lately. This place had none of that.

Flavors were really good. The spring roll wasn't greasy and had a unique feeling of some rice noodles mixed in.

They have a sushi bar, which looked extensive. It's not my thing but it was impressive.

The atmosphere is bright and clean. Walking in I may have been taken in by the bridge that corsages the koi pond, who knew.

    I would definitely go back.

  • *****

Great American Chinese food!! The remodel is perfect for the style of building and very functional. Wait staff did their job while giving us space. Portions where appropriate, good food done well, not a pile of food done cheap.

  • *****

We love the Dragon palace. It's about time Russian got some good Chinese food! The staff is always friendly and Quick. The food is always good and The Sushi is excellent. We have the general sells chicken the spicy pork and the Vegas roll. This serves 3 people and we still had enough left overs for my husband's lunch the next day.

  • *****

It's been our family tradition to go here for Christmas Eve dinner the last few years. We always enjoy it. Tonight, we walked in, and they were packed with people! Including a table of 32!

Needless to say we had a little worry. But we were AMAZED! The staff was literally running around helping people. We were seated quickly, order was taken and food arrived incredibly fast, considering how many people were here. I've never been more impressed at a restaurant with the service!

Thank you for another year of a great family tradition!!

  • *****

Pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great and the food was good. We'll be going back.

  • *****

Been here twice now & I would say it's a good spot for sure. Food is awesome, great selection and price. My favorite so far is the general Tso's chicken. Mildly spicy with strong garlic flavor in a sweet dark sauce. First time we came for dinner. It was busy so the service was a little slow but still good. The second time we came for lunch & had the special and some sushi. All good!!

  • *****

Lights outside are amazing to look at. Inside very clean and colorful. Service excellent and the food above all other Chinese restaurants I've been too.

  • *****

Really awesome service, went as far as to help me out when I forgot my wallet one night, and I have been a regular customer ever since. The food is fantastic, by far the best in the Gresham area. A lot of our tried and true Chinese restaurants have gone away, unfortunately. But these guys and gals know what they are doing! 4 stars becaause it is a bit pricey depending on what you order, 7.50 for spring rolls... Come on.

  • *****

We eat here all the time! Food is really good. Service is good and the place looks awesome at night all lit up!

  • *****

Food is good but my order was wrong. I asked for a large soup but got a small instead. I was running late so when I picked up my food I didn't realize it was wrong till I left. Make sure you check your food before you leave to make sure you are paying for what you get or you may end up like me and paying more for less. It's not my first time ordering from this place either and I've order the same items before. I was also told to not use GrubHub online through yelp to save money from the people at the front. They recommended to call instead. So I figured I pass that information on to the next patron. Like I said the food is good. Just got to check your order on days they are busy.

  • *****

Sweet staff, wonderful atmosphere especially the koi for children to watch and the salt water aquarium in the sushi dining room. Only thing is they us MSG I had a chef salad with lettuce, tomatoes, orange peppers, carrots, chicken and shrimp. Wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

This is my favorite place for Chinese and Sushi. The only time I have really had bad service is at lunch time. We love our server there! She is funny. Great food

  • *****

The food was delicious, service was great. Our server was Momo and he was incredible; quick and very kind. Will DEFINITELY return.

  • *****

Great food. Service is a little slow. Waited about 20 minutes for food. Pork fried rice could have more pork & egg in it. But, it was really good. Arrived hot & we tucked in. Lots of sweet n sour chicken. Combo dinners start at $11.00. 12 combos with at least 4 items in each. Cost me a dollar more for extra of rice. 2 dinners & sodas cost us $23. Still have lots left over for lunch tomorrow at work. ?

  • *****

I felt very welcome because the amazing stuff & I've enjoyed the the food very high quality the building is the coolest in town
    Thank you dragon palace

  • *****

This place has something for everyone. My partner loves sushi and I love Chinese food. We both get what we like.

  • *****

Beautiful building inside and out, polished and clean, and friendly staff. I loved the sushi platter I ordered, my wife was happy with the cheeseburger and my kids liked their sweet and sour chicken and crab puffs. Great place and one of my new favorites :).

  • *****

One of my favorite places to go! Good is very, very good. Most of the time the service is good, a few times only so so. I would definitely recommend.

  • *****

I'm not understanding where all the poor ratings are coming from about Dragon Palace! We have consistently visited and have never had a problem. The food is freshly cooked, nicely prepared and good quality. The staff are courteous, friendly and swift, as is the kitchen! Last night's chicken chow yuk was in a delicate clear sauce w a touch of garlic that was perfect, and the honey walnut shrimp dish is to die for! Even that normally somewhat boring staple, fried rice, was totally deluxe.
And while I am not a fan of sushi (oh HUSH), my bf said it was better than what he's paid a lot more for. His eyes actually rolled back in his head on first bite! Sushigasms!!

  • *****

Always great service and food. Its a Chinese restaurant with a full Sushi menu. I have never had anything there that I didn't like.

They Have a nice bar in the back that has open seating. Booths, tables and seats at the bar of course. The bar has at least three TVs in it that are playing sports.

When you enter there's a beautiful tiny pond full of Koi fish, there a little foot bridge over the pond, very cool.
They've done a beautiful renovation to the place it looks better than it did back in the 80s and 90s.

  • *****

I live by this place and our typical sushi spot was closed!!! So we came here! It was a delightful experience. We got the chicken teriyaki (BEST TERIYAKI SAUCE!!!!), the crab puffs were to die for and they were hot and fresh out of the fryer! and we also got a B1 Bento box which was amazing. it came with seaweed salad, steamed rice & pickled radish, a spicy tuna roll and a california roll. SERIOUSLY THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. My boyfriend and I will be back!!+

  • *****

Big portions. Great food. Amazing price. Friendly staff. No waiting. Great food variety. I love this place!

  • *****

Beautiful building, friendly staff. Wonderful menu options. Highly recommend. My newest favorite restaurant

  • *****

I often order stuff that is spicy and the tso's and curry have always been tasty. Fast service, easy to order for take out. Been here many times and plan to keep coming back.
Also, I tend to order extra rice with my curry and they don't charge that much more.
    Love it!

  • *****

Service was quick and and everybody was super friendly. The decor is absolutely impressive. I really suggest the crunchy Philly roll!

  • *****

The building itself warrants five stars, but the staff is five star as well! Food is stellar, good portions at good value. They have more than your average American Chinese/Japanese place and a pretty large drink menu. Definitely a local shining star.

  • *****

This was our first time here. It's one of the few places that serves sushi that is open on Sunday's. The food was good, not fantastic. Everything had a good flavor but was also a little fishy at the same time. Service was great and our appetizers came out at lightening speed. We would come here again.

  • *****

First time there for me. Went with friends. Amazing food, service, and a beautiful building. We tried numerous dishes, and everything tasted great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  • *****

This is our family's favorite Chinese restaurant. The building itself is beautifully decorated, and the kids love the koi pond at the entrance. The food is terrific, so we always order a little extra to bring home, although the servings are more than generous. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, although I *do* wish they'd fix the big bumps at the entrances to the parking lot. Both entrances scrape the bottom of our ramp van.

  • *****

Loved everything here from the decor to the menu. It's well lit, bright, clean, and inviting. The sushi train is well maintained, and the regular menu is diverse. The food is fresh and well seasoned. We'll definitely be back!

  • *****

This is my absolute favorite! The sushi we had, (California Rolls) was spot on, and the chicken lo mein was delicious! The cashew chicken was creamy and delicious. Portions were very large, and it was an overall great restaurant. I definitely love this place and recommend it!

  • *****

We dined here today and last Sunday. Both experiences were wonderful. We are die hard sushi lovers, and are usually disappointed with sushi quality at other restaurants in the area. The sushi here is fresh and delicious. We love the salmon lovers platter. My son got the egg foo yung and the pork fried rice, he loved it. The decor is beautiful. I have 2 kids, the youngest is 18 months and can get a little antsy. The staff spoils him with attention (especially one waitress in particular), and they care all friendly and helpful. I just can't say enough good things about this place. We are hooked!

  • *****

I've never been to China so I feel like saying this place is "authentic" isn't an honest review but it's the word I think of when it comes to their decor! Lol The portions are HUGE and it's definitely a good price for what you are getting. My boyfriend and I are vegan so we were limited to what we could eat. I wouldn't recommend this place for a vegan if you like a lot of options but the dishes we made were decent! I took my family there and they loved everything. (They are not vegan) Our server was nice, but not attentive and I know that is important to people, so I feel like others might have given less stars. It wasn't busy for a Saturday night but we also got there early. They have a bar and a sushi bar too! I would recommend this place for groups, family night or date night :)

  • *****

THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! I've gotten some questions about the sushi, and I suggest getting the crunchy, spicy salmon roll for sushi. Very fresh, and great service. Would recommend to everyone, and at the entrance, a koi fish pond and food for the kids. Very family friendly, and beautiful artwork!

  • *****

My favorite place to go for Chinese Food. It's always very fresh. They also have a sushi menu and their sushi is really good too. Even though it's a bit of a drive for me, it's totally worth it!!!

  • *****

This place was really good and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back to get me sushi.

  • *****

I had a really nice meal with my family here tonight. Atmosphere was lovely. Wait staff was excellent and warm. I just ate some of the fried rice my daughter ordered, and it was excellent straight out of the fridge. The reason for 4 stars, sushi was okay but not great, and the glassware was noticeably detergent stained. I noticed that they were advertising for a dishwasher, so probably just a bad moment. The portions are huge. We had food to take home. My kids love leftovers from Chinese, so no complaint there. Wheelchair accessible with cheerful seating. We'll be back.

  • *****

This is definitely my favorite Chinese place in the East Portland and Gresham areas. Their portion sizes are huge and there to go ordering is prepped very quickly. I've also been here for an event on their 2nd floor and appreciated their staffs quick thinking to help problem solve and attention to detail. It's a great space with great food. Very family friendly!

  • *****

After moving to Gresham from Portland my husband and i tried a few different Chinese places before finding Dragon Palace. So far we've enjoyed everything we've tried and probably will not be going anywhere else.

Have already referred others to them whenever they are looking for good Chinese food.

  • *****

Chinese food is really good! Huge portions.
Great Happy Hour deals in the bar as well.
Great sushi selection though never had great options on the sushi go round. Order off the menu or talk to the chef at the go round!
    Bartender is awesome, wonderful service.
    Friendly staff.

  • *****

This building was beautiful when it was built. After years of sitting empty, it is once again majestic. The menu was easy to use, pictures of all plates. Prices were reasonable. Food was good, but pretty much standard American Chinese. They do offer sushi and they do have a sushi train. I recommend this restaurant.

  • *****

Great place to eat. So many choices. Wonderful service. Clean. Bright and airy. Will love to go back and try something new.

  • *****

My daughter has loved this building for many years and has always wanted to go inside. After reading reviews, we took her here for her 19th birthday. We got the best waitress. She was so funny.....I wish I remembered her name! My daughter got an array of sushi, which she loved. The rest of the family settled for green bean chicken. The portions are quite large, you get a lot for your money. Not too salty, either, which is a plus. We were quite pleased with the whole dinner and definitely plan a trip back.

  • *****

When it comes to sushi I am a snob and very critical. This place was actually really good. I had my doubts pulling up, but this is a book you definitely cannot judge by it's cover. All the rolls we had we're really good. The rice wasn't over vinegary, the fish was fresh, and they do not skimp on amount. The staff was very polite and friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for sushi in Gresham.

  • *****

Amazing food, great sushi and the best egg rolls ever! My favorite Chinese food place. Always very friendly service and fast to go orders.

  • *****

Had to get a new e-mail because of the guy who wouldn't visit this place with me. I actually learned about my eastern zodiacs because of the women and men who work here! Such an amazing restaurant! Amazing how much people are expected to understand in English when dining in a fine restaurant like this. Such an amazing experience. I think I only ate one plate of sushi and that was enough to understand. Wish I could personally thank the owners!

  • *****

My husband and i have started coming here the last couple of months. We love it. We come in the bar area because we love Lucy. She is the best waitress. She has always made us feel like regulars. The food is the best Chinese in town. It's very fresh tasting and flavorful.

  • *****

We absolutely love dragon palace. Their menu is very hard to find online, so I've posted pictures of most of it. They serve Chinese and Japanese, there's also a separate full bar area that serves food as well. I haven't been in, as I'm always dining with children. There's also a sushi boat float thing that has prepared dishes you can grab up. I get the veggie Thai roll, no Thai sauce and avocado rolls, veggie noodles, honey walnut shrimp and it's consistently delicious. My husband always get a spicy fish roll and he loves it as well. Our three year old son puts away an entire roll, miso soup and always wants to go there any time we suggest going to dinner. That's fine by me! I can't speak to the meat dishes, but the things we get are great

  • *****

This was our second time at the dragon palace. It was our first time sitting at the sushi bar. They have all kinds of items on the conveyor belt and the sushi chef asked us if we had any special requests. The sushi was very good and decently priced. The building itself is gorgeous and the decorations are awesome. The only thing that could have been better both times we visited was the service. It was definitely better the second time but still a bit slow and unorganized.

  • *****

Food was very flavorful and servings are huge!!! The restaurant itself is very nice and unique especially the exterior. Service was good and friendly. Def recommend the potstickers and the sushi both were very fresh

  • *****

Haven't tried their Chinese food yet, but I have tried their Sushi. It's pretty good, typical conveyor belt Sushi. You can order from a pretty large menu for sushi, they also have a large Chinese food menu. Prices are good and the staff is friendly.

  • *****

Beautiful remodeling, great sushi menu as well as Chinese food menu. I stopped in for the first time today for a quick bite of sushi. Delicious conveyer belt sushi, and exceptional service! Took a glance at sushi menu and the Chinese food menu. Lots of options!!! I will be back to try some of the vegetarian courses!

  • *****

I love this place! The service is fantastic, the place is clean and really pretty inside, and the food is delicious. The prices are amazing and there's so much variety on the menu.

  • *****

This was honestly one of the greatest days of my life. I fought with my boyfriend for so long after walking into all of these places and seeing all of these beautiful people! Thank you so much for allowing me to learn from you. I recognize every-time he tries to take me back into this restaurant, I always get sad when I don't get to share my beautiful surroundings with other people, thank you for making such a beautiful statement and impact in your city, state, and country. Would recommend this place to any american who is confused.

  • *****

Love the atmosphere. Not to mention the warm and friendly and efficient staff. Then there's the food. My son said the spider sushi was heaven in his mouth! For me, the whole experience is worth a repeat!

  • *****

My husband wanted sushi and I don't care for sushi. But I love Chinese so we came here and sat in the bar. Lucy took care of us. She is the best waitress ever. The food is extremly fresh and yummy. I will definitely be back. We had two combination meals once sushi California roll, two drinks each. The bill was only $41 plus they gave us a free spring roll cuz it was happy hour.

  • *****

Great prices, great customer service, good sushi - not the best of the best, but absolutely not bad either, especially for the price and the good attitude of their staff. This place is right down the road from my house so I eat here regularly.

  • *****

Wasn't sure where to go for good Chinese food; thought we would give this place a try. This place is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. The servers are very quick to seat and take your order and the turn around time from placing your order to dinning is fast. The food is great, and the flavors are present with every bite. We were not disappointed at all. The price was excellent for the portion size you receive. There are not enough good things to say about our experience at the Dragon Palace today. We will definitely be back and highly recommend that others give it a try.

  • *****

A spectacular and beautiful restaurant! My brother had his 21st birthday party here. The staff were exceptionally accommodating to our massive party of 25 people, fast with service, and very reasonably priced. I was absolutely blown away with the above and beyond service. If you're anywhere near the Gresham area, this restaurant is a must-visit! 5/5 stars ???? Edit: An elderly woman fell from her chair and the staff kindly gave her a $20 gift card as compensation. If I could give more than five stars I would!

  • *****

1st time trying the place and it was great. We got food Togo and everything turned out perfect. We will definitely be back.

  • *****

We only went because the exterior was so over the top fabulous! We entered via a bridge with a koi pond below, and the greeter seated us immediately. The interior is bright and airy with very pretty chandeliers. Our order was taken within minutes and the food arrived very swiftly. It was fresh, the vegetables were crisp, the meats tender.
There are many choices; you can order a combo plate (you will take half of it home) or single dishes of your choice.
Dishes are cleared as soon as they are empty, the beer (Tsing Tao) exactly the. Right level of cold.

    We will be visiting again!

  • *****

We sat at the sushi bar. Overall, it was a nice place. Its very well decorated. The service is kind of terrible though. Everyone is kind of rushing around and not taking orders. It took 25 minutes for our food to come out. It took about 15 just flagging a waiter over to order. The food is pretty good, a little salty.

  • *****

Excellent food! The sushi is always fresh. They have a circular bar that they rotate and you just take what you want. Super fun!

  • *****

The food is pretty decent and the portions are huge; I have enough left over for two more meals. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. They have a killer saltwater aquarium by the sushi bar and a koi pond by the front door that are fun to look at.

  • *****

Very enjoyable experience. Decent atmosphere, very clean. Enjoyed the food a great deal and so did the rest of the party at my table. They serve very large portions. Service was great.

  • *****

    It got me laid.

I was so impressed by he Christmas lights while driving by one time that I wanted to try this place out. Fortunately my girlfriend had a birthday coming up and this place was going to be her birthday dinner spot. You can’t go wrong with a well reviewed, Chinese themed Chinese restaurant. We were thoroughly grateful for the delicious food and friendly service. I don’t think anyone in the restaurant was having a bad time. She was so impressed that she wanted to bring her parents back whenever they visit. ????????????????

  • *****

Delicious food, huuuuge portions, good service, great prices. Even the owner is nice!

  • *****

Lounge is so great! Staff was a joy. Drinks strong! Now the food was super good and fresh. Hope you like

Even after a couple missteps the staff at lounge and food will keep you coming back

Don't even think about not coming....you do it and promise all your dreams will come true

  • *****

This place is GREAT! So much better than the old Yun's that closed years ago.

Remodeled, clean interior. Friendly staff, EXCELLENT food!

You've GOT to try their Honey Walnut Shrimp. It's like crack!

  • *****

Lounge is so great! Staff was a joy. Drinks strong! Now the food was super good and fresh. Hope you like garlic.

  • *****

This place has a great location on the corner of Burnside and Cleveland Ave in Gresham. The parking is great and even though it was busy there were plenty of spaces and we didn't have to walk far to the front door.
The Koi and Goldfish pond was great to look at while we waited for our seats.
The staff was friendly and even joked with us which is not something you get very much of these days, people are so often too afraid to offend.
I had an alcoholic milkshake which was very good not too sugary and had a great presentation. The food was cooked quickly and wasn't so hot that it burned but was just right.
My friend who went to dinner with us works as a professional chef and told us that these things were cooked fresh not frozen (I would never be able to tell but he was impressed all the same).
The staff made sure our drinks were always filled and asked promptly to remove our empty plates and glasses.
The food was generously proportioned and it was a fantastic price for the amount we received. I ordered the broccoli chicken which was so good I am going back this week to get more (it was steamed just right not a soggy mess or too crispy). Their crab puffs were quite good and weren't too greasy like most Asian food places.
I can't say enough good things about this place!!! The China Hut used to be mine and my husband's favorite Chinese place (but since the old owners sold it, it has really gone downhill). I now have a new favorite!!!!

  • *****

Was really busy when I went in so I sat in lounge. Customer service was very friendly. Ordered right away with easy to read menus. Prices aren't bad and the portions of food are large. I don't remember exactly what I ordered but it was good. Only problem I had was it's a really long wait for the food. So if your like me and get really hungry and want to eat right away maybe Its not the best place. But if you have time it's worth it.

  • *****

Our go to place for sushi. The remodel is very nice - bright and clean. Service has always been friendly and efficient but I will say we only go during the week and before dinner rush. My husband likes the sushi but orders from the Chinese menu as well. We've never been disappointed with our selections. Definitely recommend.

  • *****

LOVE THIS PLACE! Beautiful entrance and interior. Vegetables are fresh and the shrimp is firm and perfect. The sauces are well crafted and delicious. The crab puffs are the best. Very large portions. Friendly servers. Never tried the sushi bar, but it looks tempting--even has an attractive room of its own. Reasonable prices. This place has become a favorite. Plus, they offer take out.

  • *****

Good food for their prices, fast service and a clean facility. We love to either eat there or call for take out. One of our favorite places!

  • *****

Excellent food. Great selection and huge portions. Love it! Our new favorite place! Only thing I would change is a little different selection of combination meals. But not that big of deal since they offer such a large selection of great food. Great service. Food comes fast and hot. Tons of seating. Highly recommend.

  • *****

I loved this place, went there a few weeks ago at lunch. The food was delicious, the plate was enormous, they gave me soup and tea before the main course and it was really cheap.
The waitress was really nice, she was from Taiwan and since I'm learning Chinese I practiced it with her a little bit. Clean, vegetarian friendly and by that time it wasn't crowded. Can't wait to come back!

  • *****

BEST CHINESE IN GRESHAM, Probably the Portland Metro area. Good prices, Good fresh Sushi with seating around their Sushi Belt.

We eat here at least weekly and have never been let down.

  • *****

Service was prompt, food was good had the salted shrimp and pork subgum, we'll be back.

  • *****

Finally a really good Chinese restaurant in Gresham. Food amazing, hot and sour soup a must try, the vegetables in several dishes we tried really fresh, and the service amazing. We sat in the bar and Lucy was the best. Highly recommended.

  • *****

Had Mongolian beef and Shrimp Lo Mein. Both were absolutely to die for. For sushi I had the Long Island Roll and I've worked for sushi places but this place is amazing. Highly recommended.

  • *****

Awesome the pork egg foo young was yummy yummy yummy and the sesame beef was super yummmmmy! Prices were the same as everywhere else. Definitely a must try.

  • *****

My wife & I got the combo order from the back of the menu,(I'm not sure what's its called but it's $15.95 per person) but I got the broccoli beef & she got the orange chicken. Both were really good. The order came with shrimp, rice, two spring rolls, BBQ pork & our choice of soup. Over all we thought it was very good and would for sure go back. The interior also looks really cool.

  • *****

The food was great. Best orange chicken I've ever had. They had a full house and getting someone to take order was done after mgr (owner?) noticed. We will definitely go back.

  • *****

Huge portions, good food, bit of a wait, but worth it. We will be back.

"You will advance socially without any special effort... In bed. "

  • *****

Our favorite Chinese food close to home. Love the pork fried rice and pot stickers. Hot and sour soup is yummy and spicy too. So far the best Chinese food for us! Will not go anywhere else!

  • *****

Beautiful building and the portions of Chinese food are large. Food was served quickly and good although a little weak on taste. I would recommend this place to friends.

  • *****

Drinks where good, bartender was on point. The sushi was delicious. Had a great time. Thanks jennie mae.

  • *****

Enjoyed my experience in this restaurant. The ceiling is beautiful. We had a wonderful waitress who handled our large group with great aplomb. I enjoyed the food and would have awarded five stars but for the fried rice. If they changed that - stellar. Unfortunately, it is a bit lacking. Otherwise would recommend and will return again.

  • *****

Great sized portions, friendly service and tastes great. I had general Tsos lunch special and was very satisfied

  • *****

Beautiful remodel. Service prompt and friendly. Hot and sour soup just enough heat and sourness. Sezchaun chicken and happy family came with steamed rice. Generous portions. Happy tummies.

  • *****

I never showed this place the time of day because I always thought it was closed amd looked run down. Got a recommendation to go there so my boyfriend and I went there 12/14/15. Walking in it was pretty cool, it was clean and smelled nice. Wait staff was friendly. The inside was super nice and clean, lots of seating if you ever dine with a lot of people. Whoever took over this place put a lot of work into it. The service was quick ( maybe because it was pretty slow when we got there but it picked up) the menu was easy to follow. We ordered food and egg rolls (which for 2 for $4.50 could be bigger) the food was super tasty and the portions were definitely enough for one person....the chicken was a bit dry but it was still really good. Our waitress Crystal was prompt and was great about checking on us. The best part is when you go to pay they actually being a portable debt/credit machine to your table. I highly recommend trying Dragon Palace out, its worth it.

  • *****

The best Chinese food I have had in a long time. Worth the wait if they are busy. Very clean and remodeled. Just opened so some of there processes are not the best but I definitely give them 5 stars for the food.

  • *****

Today went here for first time since it was yuns garden. I had some excellent General tso chicken and orange chicken was excellent also. Make sure you come here for lunch and dinner. Huge portions and very tasty. Defiantly coming back.

  • *****

It was their 4th day open. They haven't had their grand opening yet.
The staff was super friendly and attentive. Front desk girls were a little clueless but I think it was because they were new and young. The decor was very nice and everything was clean. Tables were a little close together. The backs of the chairs touched when they were pulled out.
The portions were very generous, food was fresh. They use MSG but you can ask them to leave it out (which we did). They had Chinese and sushi. We didn't try the sushi but saw some people order it and it looked good.
We had egg flour soup. It was good and had corn in it.
We also had kung pao chicken and honey walnut shrimp. The shrimp was our favorite. Not too saucy or sweet. They used fresh veggies throughout and everything was cooked to crisp tender.
The fried rice was a little bland (maybe because of no MSG) but it had whole shrimp in it and huge chunks of pork.
Overall we had a very good experience and will be back.

  • *****

Let me start off by saying that I kinda gave up on Chinese food in This area. Every place I've been to has had horrible food, bad service, or was very dirty. The only reason why I gave this place a try was the busy parking lot, and high hope this would be different. It was! It was clean, had good fresh food, and good service! I hope to return soon to have the same experience

  • *****

My ladies group ate at Dragon Palace today and the food and service were both awesome. I plan to go there often. Portions are quite large and the prices are very reasonable.

  • *****

Today my husband and I decided to give this place another chance. We decided to go to the bar this time, and very glad we did. Corri was our bartender and she was fantastic. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our return visit. You can tell she is a professional and truly cared about our experience. The food was fantastic and consistent.

  • *****

Some of the best Chinese food I've had around Gresham. The food is on spot! Huge menu, they even have a sushi bar. Chinese food+sushi+beer for two was $40 including tip. Price's are reasonable, and this place is FRESH! Definitely will be going back.

  • *****

We've only been here once and the food was great. I am looking forward to returning. I have fond memories of the building's previous restaurant owner and was not sure how I would like it. The interior is open, inviting and bright. Appetizers and entrees were appealing. I loved the Jasmine tea.

  • *****

I used to go to this place in the old days. What a difference. They obviously spent a lot of time and money to re-open. Worth the wait. I took my wife out for her birthday along with my Mother in law and sister in law. They all like Chinese food as well as myself. In my opinion Gresham has never had GOOD Chinese food. It does now. I tried the General Tso's chicken, egg rolls, BBQ pork and fried rice. It was all good. The items with the check mark are supposed to be hot and spicy, they weren't but still so good I had no complaints about anything I had. The hot and sour soup was some of the best I've ever had. Waitstaff friendly and helpful. I just moved back to Gresham from Portland and I'm really glad to have them here. I think it will be at least a once a week place for me as long as they don't get over priced. Everyone else was also quite satisfied. I also took home a dinner to go for tomorrow. I usually don't write reviews but these people deserve a show of appreciation. Keep up the great work and I'll be taking my friends with me whenever I want to go to lunch with the people that keep asking me to go out to eat. Thanks for making my wife's birthday better.

  • *****

We have waited for this restaurant to open since we started watching the remodel & new landscaping. We were not disappointed. Beautifully decorated & very clean. We've tried many different places for a good Lo Mein . There's is the best we've had. Every item we ordered was delicious & there is no MSG in any of it. The portions were so large, we had leftovers of everything. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Dragon Palace.

  • *****

Especially for Gresham, this place is great. Big portions, great prices and the sushi is delicious and fresh. Lots of parking, seldom is there a wait, everything I have ever ordered there was really good, from the soup to the Mongolian beef to the complimentary tea. Highly recommended.

  • *****

This is based on our first visit. Wife and I came in for dinner just to check it out. Beautiful remodel of a place that stood empty for a long time. Place is very attractive, bright and very well served by wait staff. Dinners were very good, large portions. Will definitely go back soon.

  • *****

Very good Chinese and sushi. Would definitely come back. We had the sweet and sour chicken, and veggie dishes. Also, egg rolls really good. Sushi fresh and delicious. Sat in the lounge. TVs and bar.

  • *****

very nice and clean restaurant. Highchairs for my 9 month old. Sushi and a full menu/bar. The servers are perfect ,it is always busy and delicious. There is no poke stop or gym in range.

Delicious!!! First, let me just say that I've waited 3 years for this building of old Yun's Garden to be filled. I'm so glad there is a great Chinese restaurant now open in Gresham. Their decor and set up was BEAUTIFULLY done.
Okay, now to the good stuff...
Their staff and customer service was exceptional.
Food... I had the lunch special with some sushi. I ordered the California roll. It was delicious and prepared perfectly on the plate. I also ordered the Kung Pao Chicken lunch special. It comes with a choice of soup when you dine-in, and I chose the egg flower. It was great!!! I've never had corn in mine before though, btw. Nice touch. Lunch special also comes with a fried egg roll and pork. Their Kung Pao was great. I'm iffy ordering it just any where, but they got a 5/5 in my book.
The only constructive criticism I have, is their fried rice. It was good with soy sauce and mixed in with the Kung Pao... But definitely not a hit by itself. Not much egg, peas, etc... Mainly just brown rice.
Above and beyond, they are awesome in my book. I will be back. And again, I'm so excited there is a great Chinese restaurant in Gresham!
PS: They have a lounge as well. Full bar.

Very impressed! Starting with the service, outstanding delivery on the phone when calling in my order. Then, when picking up the order, the girl at the counter was VERY attentive and service-oriented. Well trained.

The food was different than your cheap American-Chinese. The 'normal dishes' were flavorful with a unique delicious flavoring. This place only opened up a few months ago, the inside decor is very nice and unique.

Give it a try if you're looking for Chines in east Portland!

The food was amazing. The service is why I bumped it down to 4. the place has been open for a while, but when I ordered a drink (mojito) they didn't have the ingredients. So I ordered an amaretto sour, and when the server got back with it she made it sound like she made the drink, and wasn't sure if she did it right. It put me off a little bit. Husband and I might go back, but it's not at the top of our list.

I had only been to this restaurant many decades ago when it first was built and opened and never returned. It was dark, creepy and the food was terrible. I recently returned for a luncheon with a large group on a Saturday and the experience was a complete turn around.

Although our luncheon organizer had made several calls to the restaurant, she was unable to make reservations for our group because the place doesn't accept them. But, they thanked her for the heads up and told her we were welcome.

When we arrived, we were told that both the computer and phone systems were down and we were all left standing in the lobby while the staff sorted it all out. I was amazed at how quickly they pulled it all together, got us seated and begin taking orders by hand. We were immediately served ice water and hot tea and our orders were taken. There were sixteen of us so this was no easy feat.

The food arrived correctly and hot. I was shocked at how quickly we were served and even without the computer system, our one and only server did an amazing job of keeping everything straight. Our group ordered a mix of sushi and regular Chinese food and everyone was delighted. Very large portions, great prices and delicious food. I am going back and taking my family with me.

Loved the atmosphere and loved the food. Waitress was super nice. She didn't quite know everything yet but she was fast and responsive in getting the answers. Will definitely go back to this place!!

They have excellent sushi here! I am a snob when it comes to my sushi and this place has the best sushi in Gresham. I think it's comparable to fujis, which is my favorite sushi ever. I'm not usually a fan of Chinese food, but even their Chinese food is good here.

    Food was absolutely delicious

  • *****

Excellent food and beautiful remodel of the building. We had a bad experience at this location in the past under the old name and management. It was dirty, dark and quite frankly, kind of creepy. The food was so so.
We have been twice since it reopened and won't hesitate to go back.
The transformation is amazing and the food is fresh and plentiful.

  • *****

Their sushi and chinese food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Wait staff provide stellar service and the food is a five!

  • *****

Delicious Sushi the atmosphere is very fancy and environs. We really enjoyed our dinner and can't wait to come back.

This is the real deal ! Good Cantonese cuisine at its finest. Eating the leftover this morning and still yummy.

  • *****

Fresh food, good service & affordable prices. The place is clean and not boring, unlike most other Chinese restaurants.
I will definitely come back to try more items from their menu,

We have found this place to be far above most . The service is always excellent. The combination dinners are great and plentiful. Something for everyone. I've never tried the Sushi but everything we've eaten is excellent.

  • *****

The sushi was great. Good flavor. Large rolls. We had the Long Island and one other with crab--I think maybe called the tempura roll. Both were good.

The remodel turned out very nicely. They really put a lot of effort into it.

The kids had a Chinese kids meal, which looked fine. I was a bit disappointed with their fried rice, which lacked peas or carrots, and didn't seem to have much in the way of eggs.

    Prices were fair.

The staff were definitely still working out the kinks of their service, but I think they will get there.

We will be back in a few weeks to see how things progress after the grand opening.

Update to previous review...we decided to give this place a 2nd shot after having a bad experience in the lounge. This time we sat on the restaurant side and had an excellent experience. The server (Julia) greeted us in less than a minute, waters and menus places right away, great attitude, and really good Chinese food.
We started with potstickers and ordered orange chicken, general tso, and salted pepper squid for our main entre. Everything was great and reasonably priced.
    Enjoy!

  • *****

This place is awesome! I found it here on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. The general tsos chicken is one of the best things I've ever had tbh and the crab puffs are great too. Prices aren't too high and they give pretty large portions for example the crab puffs are 6.25 but you get 12 of them and the sweet and sour dipping sauce. I highly recommend this place, great service, friendly staff and great for takeout!

After reading some of these reviews we were a little leery to try them, but I can happily say we they greatly exceeded our expectations! Our personal judge of a good Chinese restaurant is the BBQ Pork, the crab puffs and the pork chow mein - and we ordered all three. They were all really good! A couple of low notes though... The tea had a sharp tannin taste like it had sat all day and got too strong. Also, the egg flower soup had too much 5 spice in it for our taste.
We will go back, I can tell you they spared no expense in the remodel... The bar is gorgeous and don't forget to look up at the ceiling in the main restaurant - it's breathtaking!

  • *****

For starters - you've got to go in to this place just to look at what they've done. Especially if you were there before the remodel. I've not stepped in this place since the early 80s I do believe and never went back as it was dirty and dark.

All the turkey was gobbled up and so we needed to just get out and get a meal and my curiosity about this place needed feeding as well. We headed into the lounge to eat as there were less people and I was just not in the mood to listen to crying children should there be any. Lucy was a great bartender/server. She came over quickly to our table to get our order. We are kind of picky and I really do not like greasy chinese food so we order less oil and less salt. We ordered shrimp lo mein and scallops with vegetables. I so wanted the shrimp/walnut dish but they were out of it? I guess they ran out of walnuts? At any rate the dishes came out with fresh veggies (not overcooked either) also. There seemed to be a lot of celery though on one of the dishes so it kind of took over the whole meal. Also, since we asked for low salt there did not seem to be any other spices so the dishes were a little boring. I'll just mention add extra spices next time we come in and maybe they might just let me get in the kitchen and cook it myself haha.

Food is good. Decent portions. Wish they would lower lunch prices because they are Way over priced. Decent prices for diner so I eat there often for dinner. Friendly service sushi is decent. Would be a 5 star if it wasn't for lunch prices

I used to work at yuns garden when i was only 16 years old and even though i was young i could see this was not the cleanest place. I came back to work here here years later, i was so excited to see this beautiful building open again. I have worked here since the day they reopened, i have been so impressed with what they have done with this beautiful restarant mimpressed with the quality of food they put out and how clean this resturant is. I love working for a place that cares enough about the customers that they care about the quality and cleaness of there kitchen. Best chinese food in town! kami

  • *****

The best Chinese in Gresham. Come early on weekends, fills up fast. Nice place! Big plates, good prices.

  • *****

First time here, really impressed with everyone and everything. Fresh vegetables, huge portions. We went on a Friday night... Very busy but they were seating people quickly. We went to the bar. Got a table right away. The 2 of us had dinner and a drink for under $40. If you are in the area, it's a must visit.

  • *****

We had lunch late today. The place was immaculately clean. The server (s) were very helpful and quick. They have a full selection of what I call Chinese American dishes. They also have a sushi conveyor and a large selection of different types. They have a full service bar, although we didn't. The plates we were served were huge portions. It was so much we took enough home for a second meal. We will go back.

  • *****

Attention! They serve amazing salt and pepper squid! Traditionally prepared and competitive with zein hong and Powells seafood.

All of the dishes come out hot and well prepared! Crunchy fresh veggies and large portion sizes make this restaurant one not to miss!

  • *****

Best Chinese aroynd. Everything's fresh. Large portions. Great environment also. You can definitely tell they've put alot of money into this place. The General Tsao Chicken is by for one of the best I've ever had. Their combinations are large and can be shared between 2 people. Sushi is excellent given its a Chinese restaurant.

  • *****

Don't be thrown off by the temple/disco theme, this place is awesome. They recently updated their menu and added a sushi train. The crab stuffed jalapeo poppers were insanely good! I always get the seaweed salad as well as edamame and they are great starters as well. The yellowtail sashimi is always fresh and melts in your mouth. Love all the rolls too. Their specialty dragon palace roll seems a little odd with beef on it. Again, delicious. Wait staff always nice and attentive. Highly recommend.

This location used to be a dump it was a "meat market" for decaying flesh.
    NOT ANY MORE!
New owners. Remodeled. Clean, nice decor.
    AND THE FOOD IS GREAT!
Great for families. Fair pricing, and the portions are big. I have to take leftovers home.
Great service and our meals came quickly.
    I would surely come back.

  • *****

Great food, great and clean atmosphere, very clean, nice chairs and, tables. Great service although it started slow but then was fine. The food was beyond our expectations. Crab puffs were yummy. Combinations great food for the price. The menus are nice, easy to read and pictures are a huge plus. Nice sushi bar If your into that. Definitely going back

I'm ready to go back and I haven't even left yet. The food is fresh and flavorful, the place is clean, and there is plenty of sushi to go around. Huge portions. Yum. Can I start my next meal now?! I stopped here after shopping in the area and live about 30 mins away but I'll definitely be back.

A Chinese place that serves sushi. Sounds scary, right?

I gave it a chance. Husband and I were not completely on the same page with food, so I thought this would be a good option.

We ordered the appetizer plate from the Chinese food menu, and picked out a few rolls of sushi, as well. The Chinese food was great, and we received complimentary hot tea.

No one around our booth was ordering sushi, so we were anxious to see what came from the sushi bar.

When our rolls arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how they appeared, and quickly found that the taste and freshness exceeded our expectations. Honestly, this is some of the best sushi I've had in Oregon.

They remodeled recently, as well. It's really nice and clean inside. The entrance has a water feature on both sides with koi fish. There is a sushi bar with seating that is separate from the rest of the restaurant.

We will have to try more of the Chinese menu, but so far, this is the best sushi we have found in the area.

  • *****

Great service, super clean, nice sushi bar. We tried homemade orange sauce and made-to-order teriyaki sauce. The Crab Puffs were delish. Noticable fresh ingredients and large portions of food for the price. I will definitely go back.

  • *****

The food and service were outstanding. Kung Pao Chicken was fresh, light and super tasty.
Finally a good place for Chinese in Gresham!

  • *****

Fresh ingredients. Real good food. Restaurant super clean and updated. Ate in the lounge and plenty of HD TV's. We will be back.

  • *****

Friendly staff and decent food. I ordered the fried chicken wings and dumpling/noodle soup. The chicken wings were over fried and were just mediocre. The dumpling soup was pretty awesome. Lots of dumplings, noodles, vegetables, and even some pork. I added some sriracha for a little heat. The soup portion was so big I couldn't finish it all. Too bad because it was great. I sat at the bar for my food and chatted with the bartender. She was friendly and kept my glass full. Looking forward to a return trip next time I'm in Gresham.

After years of wondering if I just don't like Chinese food like other Americans, or if Gresham's Chinese food scene sucked, along came this place!!

The beautiful building finally opened and is being used for what it should be: delicious, reasonable priced Asian food. The lobby immediately makes you feel like this isn't your average "quick and greasy" Food Palace. Everything is obviously newer and very clean, and even the staff was well put together, though our host wasn't the friendliest until it came time to pay and leave.

But onto the important part; the food!
(We took pictures for the curious)

We started with crab puffs, which were delicious! A nice balance of cream cheese and crab, and we weren't disappointed. We were pleased that the cook (from the taste of it) was using fresh, clean, and decent quality oil.
Our main dishes, which my husband and I always share family style from our plates, was very good, fresh, and a nicely balanced between veggie/meat/noodle. Not too greasy, and made with care, we WILL be back!

Only thing I wish I would of tried their sushi while we were there....

Update: been there several times now, and while service can be a bit hit and miss (it's not horrible just some are a bit slow) and the floor needs swept a bit more often after the lunch crowd leaves, the food is always EXCELLENT. Still five stars and one of my favorite date spots with the hubby.

Feeling of a super fancy restaurant without the high dollar price tag. The entrance is a must see, it's a bridge over a pond. Never seen anything like it before.

We had a really nice meal. Friendly staff. BBQ pork wasn't dry like it often is at other restaurants. Very tastefully decorated. Very good food. I would suggest the combos for amount of food for the price.

My family loves this place. If you get the right thing, the food is great. Otherwise it is so-so. The service is always wonderful, and the food is served fast.

I was impressed. Overall the ambiance is warm and inviting. The place is clean and well decorated. The sashimi that I ordered was fresh and arranged beautifully. Jessica was my server and her customer service was excellent.

Relatively new to this restaurant offers very fresh food! The vegetables are always crisp and not frozen. The meats are cooked perfectly and always soft and succulent. Their offerings are so varied that it's difficult to make up one's mind about what to eat... With that said I've had everything from a simple combo plate to Sushi to individual entree shared with a friend... All have been perfect and extremely tasty
